Another Addiction…

Standard

…Books!

Oh! I love them all.

Either it is a fantasy novel, romantic poems, photography… I love them!

So, as you know, I have recently started knitting and the world seems to me an endless path of choice. What yarn, which pattern, what colour?

…and then I decide to learn more about dying yarn or fibre!

TA-DA!

New book!!! (I could not resist of course.. 1. great cover 2. it is Japanese!)

When you open it, you see just colour.

The great thing is that it has ACTUAL examples of dying.

It is seasonally divide. (depend of the season what you can easily found i.e: orange pill in winter)

But the nicest thing is that for every colour it has one or several ideas on what to do, or things and how to make them!

This book is not only about dying, it is about crafting!

Crafting a new colourful world.

Christmas is here…

Standard

…or almost!

Yesterday I returned from work to find several packages for me…!!!

Excited I tear up the envelopes, packaging boxes…. to find:

1. One of the most beautiful books, that I have ever held: Hand dying: yarn and fleece  by Gail Callahan. It talks about everything a newbie needs to learn, from how to make your own “studio”, what you will need, about the different fibers to dye, dyes to try, and results!

2. A big lot of knitting needles, from 2,00 mm to 10,00 mm ❤

3. New Logo Tags ❤ ❤ ❤ yeah! they feel great!

4. New Fabric: spotted, flowered, cat pattern, and my favourite: the laminated flowered! The colours are vivid and shining! With that came a little surprise: a gift from the seller: 2 masking tape. I love them.

I am so happy, and why wouldn’t I be?

My spirit has taken a huge boost up 🙂 .

Could Christmas be even better?

Lets see.
